The understated, monochromatic appearance of the May family is detailed without being technical. The chair leads the way for the defining interactions of the design in which a delicate surface meets a bold frame - two opposing elements which somehow comfortably coexist. As the light steel sheet tightly wraps itself around the chunky steel frame, it forms a strong and comfortable seat, slightly curved so that it gently hugs the body.
